Low productivity, characterized by low production levels and irregular supply of traded commodities along the value chain, has been identified as one of the key barriers to commercialization of the agricultural sector.
In order to address this challenge, ASDSP seeks to support value chain actors (men, women and youth) in the prioritized value chains (PVCs) to increase their productivity through interventions that focus on the following areas:
- Enhancing the technical capacity of service providers based on identified value chain opportunities
- Value Chains Innovations with high prospects for women and youth value chain actors;
- Enhancing Climate Smart Agriculture and Green Growth interventions, practices and technologies
