Agriculture Sector Development Support Programme Phase II (ASDSP II) is rolling out an E – Marketing platform to enhance value chain actors’ products/services saleability.
This is in respect to market research, after sell customer service, advertising, promotion and market segmentations.
Speaking earlier today during the training of 20 Enumerators meant to onboard Value chain organizations and actors within the 6 sub counties, Mr, Steven Oketch – Siaya Agri Value Chain Incubation & Innovation Center (SAVIIC) Business Development Manager stated that the online shop will be free off charge and will enable buyers to access products at a mouse click, unlike the traditional methods.
He added that the system has a combined buyer – seller non – faceted interaction & shop management into a single, beautiful platform that will allow actors in the three value chains of Fish, Mango & indigenous chicken to sell and buy at their own convenience.
The County Programme Coordinator, Mr. Kenneth Owuor indicated that the exercise sets pace for the realization of the commercialization Agenda in Siaya County hence the enumerators should handle the data with utmost accuracy and integrity for its success.
